HMS has been audited by leading automation companies such as Motoman Robotics, Sony, Pilz and ABB. These successful audits cover everything from product quality, delivery performance, general partnership, reaction time, logistics and technical support.

We currently have an on-time delivery rate of 98 per cent. Field returns are less than 0,02%. These are good numbers, but we aim to improve.

HMS and the environment

RoHs and WEEE ComplianceAs a manufacturing company, HMS works to continually decrease the effect on the environment, both by making our own products as energy efficient as possible, but also by choosing environmentally smart ways of working.

How HMS products save energy

Our environmental policy:

  • Alternatives with a minimum of environmental influence shall be chosen at long term investments.
  • During product development it shall be verified that no environmentally controlled substances are part of the hardware. Alternatives with a minimum of environmental influence shall be chosen.
  • Reusable and recyclable packaging materials shall be chosen for freight.
  • An implemented management system as well as capability to supply environmental friendly products is appreciated at evaluation and selection of suppliers.
  • All staff in the company is responsible to take care of the waste in a non-polluting way.

RoHS and WEEE Compliance
The RoHS directive 2002/95/EC, as well as the WEEE directive 2002/96/EC, aim to decrease the risk for discharge of substances harmful to life and environment. HMS aims to comply with these directives and also constantly strive to make our products as energy efficient as possible.
