Modbus RTU Serial Gateway

The Anybus Communicator Gateway for Modbus RTU is an external DIN-rail mounted gateway which provides Modbus RTU slave network connectivity on one side and a configurable serial interface on the lower side, e.g. Modbus RTU master.
This gateway can thus work as a data concentrator on a Modbus network being Modbus RTU master on one side and a Modbus RTU slave on the other side.

In the sub network side it has serial protocol support for Master Mode and Generic Data Mode which is both fully configurable through the Anybus Configuration Manager for Windows and the configuration port on the Anybus Communicator. Modbus RTU master is easily configured using built in macros or wizards.
Other protocols can be implemented by HMS on request.

The delivery comes complete with a DSUB connector with screw terminals for the serial sub-network, CD with Configuration Software and User Manuals, RS232 Configuration Cable and a short Installation Leaflet for the electrical installation.
