The Anybus OPC Server enables any OPC client application to access any of the following network types using the HMS product Anybus X-gateway with aluminum housing. The X-gateway is available with several network types and can thus enable communication between OPC and these networks: CANopen slave, CC-Link slave, ControlNet adapter, DeviceNet scanner, DeviceNet adapter, FIPIO slave, Interbus slave, Modbus Plus slave, Modbus-RTU slave, PROFIBUS master, PROFIBUS slave, EtherCAT slave, EtherNet/IP scanner, EtherNet/IP adapter, Modbus-TCP server, PROFINET IO device, PROFINET IRT devíce, LonWorks, AS-Interface MasterThe Anybus OPC Server is included in the delivery when buying Anybus hardware; and it can also be downloaded from www.anybus.com.
The Anybus OPC server is installed on a Windows PC and communicates with Anybus X-gateway using a standard Ethernet connection.
