What is EtherNet/IP
EtherNet/IP is an industrial Ethernet network originating from Rockwell Automation, It is an already well established Industrial Ethernet communication system with good Real-Time capabilities. Managed by the Open DeviceNet Vendors Association (ODVA), EtherNet/IP has an especially strong presence in America and Asia.

Ethernet/IP CommunicatorAnybus Communicator is a stand-alone protocol converter enabling you to connect your device to EtherNet/IP.

It doesn't matter if your device runs CAN, RS232/422/485, Modbus RTU, DF1 or any other proprietary protocol.

You configure the connection in a configuration manager software which means no programming is needed.
